Meet Our Management Team
Martin has had a long career in financial services, spending the majority in the Merchant Cash Advance field. Within the last nine years, he has worked in various senior management roles at Meridian Star Merchant Services, Instant Cash Funding and World Global Finance, where he was instrumental in tripling revenues.
Most recently, Martin is serving in his present capacity with Knight Capital Funding as Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing and Business Development. Previously, Martin has served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing with IGT Media Holdings, where he ran a sales team of 30 representatives and was also in commercial real estate with Turnberry International Realty, where he was responsible for over $50,000,000 in sales. Martin attended the University of Miami where he studied marketing.
Amanda Barton serves as in-house counsel at Knight Capital Funding. Before joining the Knight Capital Funding team, Ms. Barton worked as an associate in the bankruptcy practice group at Markowitz, Ringel, Trusty and Hartog, P.A., a multidisciplinary civil practice law firm specialized in the representation of businesses, institutions and individuals in a wide array of legal matters.
Ms. Barton also served as in-house counsel to a private investment firm, where she handled all in-house transactions with a concentration in Debtor-in-Possession financing for Chapter 11 debtors, secured lending transactions, and various aspects of municipal bond financing, including, but not limited to, financing, restructuring, and repositioning of bond debt related to community development districts throughout Florida.
Ms. Barton was born and raised in Naples, Florida. She received her undergraduate degree from Stetson University in December 2005 and her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law in May 2009. Ms. Barton is an active member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in all U.S. District Courts and U.S. Bankruptcy Courts within the state of Florida.
Britt McKay is Knight Capital’s Accounting Manager. She is responsible for the company’s accounting and finance functions.
Prior to working at Knight Capital, Britt was an Assistant Manager at HIG Capital for four years and a Fund Manager at State Street Corporation for five years. Britt graduated from Northeastern University with an M.S. in Finance.
Jared Gaitan is Knight Capital’s Asset Manager. Mr. Gaitan is progressively responsible for managing the recovery of assets for a multi-million dollar organization.
Among his significant previous positions, Mr. Gaitan has directed as many as 30 top employees and demonstrated perseverance through start up, survival, and exponential growth. His superior leadership during critical transition phases has engineered over $4,500,000 in recovered revenue. Mr. Gaitans’ extensive knowledge, dedication and leadership has built one of the strongest asset recovery teams in the industry.
Chris McCay is the Marketing Director of Knight Capital Funding. He is a true marketing professional who has worked his way up through the ranks.
Mr. McCay started his career as a creative in 2006 and over time has held positions as Sales for Web and Social Media, Photographer, Graphic Designer, Lead Designer and Project Manager. As Marketing Director, Chris manages the Knight Capital branding, marketing, affiliate onboarding and web development team.
Mr. McCay has a strong background in the web development and digital space. He has produced projects and managed teams on a large scale for Fortune 500 companies, the entertainment industry, financial and legal firms as well as startups.
Chris is an Alabama native who enjoys longboarding, doodling in Photoshop and feeling self conscious about writing biographies.
